Jessica King represents individuals and their family members who have been injured or killed by the negligence of others, as well as individuals who have been injured in work accidents. Prior to joining Hasner Law, Jessica worked as an insurance defense attorney with mid-size and large defense firms, where she represented liability carriers, employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout Georgia in personal injury and workers’ compensation claims.

Jessica’s prior experience in insurance defense gives her a unique perspective of knowing how insurance adjusters and defense attorneys from different environments handle cases. While practicing insurance defense, Jessica built relationships with other attorneys and insurance adjusters and developed a deeper understanding into how they analyze and evaluate cases. Now that she has joined Hasner Law, Jessica is proud to be using her legal training to help individuals and families in need throughout Georgia. Her experience representing liability carriers, employers, insurers, and third-party administrators throughout Georgia is a valuable tool that she uses to help and fight for her clients.

Jessica grew up in Marietta, Georgia. She attended Georgia Institute of Technology for her undergraduate degree and earned a B.S. in Management in 2008. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Jessica attended Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama, where she graduated with a J.D. in 2011. She also earned an M.B.A. at Samford University in 2011. Following law school and business school, Jessica was admitted to practice law in Georgia in 2011.

Jessica lives in Marietta with her husband, Ian, their two sons, Davis and Owen, and their dog, Moose. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling, spending time in the Western North Carolina mountains, and spending time with her friends and family.
