Atlanta Law Firm - personal injury law

A personal injury lawyer helps injured individuals recover compensation after accidents caused by negligence. Hasner Law is a Georgia-based personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm that has represented injured clients and their families since 2008.

We serve clients across Georgia from offices in Atlanta, Savannah, and Kennesaw, handling cases involving car accidents, truck collisions, motorcycle crashes, workplace injuries, slip and fall incidents, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, and other negligence-based claims.

We limit the number of cases each attorney handles so that every client receives direct communication with their lawyer and case manager throughout the legal process.

How Did Hasner Law Get Started?

Stephen Hasner founded Hasner Law in 2008 after spending years on the defense side of workers’ compensation law, representing insurance companies and employers.

That experience gave him a detailed understanding of how insurers build their strategies to minimize payouts, and he made the decision to use that knowledge on behalf of injured workers and accident victims instead.

The firm started with a single office in Atlanta. As demand grew and the legal team expanded, Hasner Law opened offices in Savannah, Downtown Atlanta, and Kennesaw to serve clients across a wider geographic footprint.

Today the firm’s personal injury lawyers in Georgia handle cases throughout the state, with particular depth in car accidents, truck collisions, workplace injuries, and premises liability.

Community Beyond the Courtroom

Stephen Hasner also co-founded Rayo de Sol, a ministry in Nicaragua that supports children and families in need. That commitment to service extends into how the firm operates day to day, with each client treated as a person first and a case second.

What Sets Hasner Law Apart from Other Georgia Personal Injury Firms?

Attorneys Who Started on the Defense Side

Managing Partner Stephen Hasner and Senior Attorney Pearce Taylor both launched their legal careers representing insurance companies and employers in workers’ compensation disputes.

They know the defense playbook firsthand and apply that insight to anticipate and dismantle the strategies insurers use against injured people.

Senior Attorney Judy Blackwell adds another layer of perspective, having served six years as an Administrative Law Judge with Georgia’s State Board of Workers’ Compensation, where she presided over more than 500 cases.

Limited Caseloads, Direct Attorney Access

Many personal injury firms accept high volumes of cases and route client calls through intake staff or automated systems. We take a different approach.

Every attorney at Hasner Law carries a limited caseload, which means you speak directly with the lawyer handling your case and receive regular updates without having to chase down information.

Bilingual Legal Services

Hasner Law provides full legal representation in both English and Spanish. Spanish-speaking clients and their families receive the same level of direct communication and support in their preferred language.

No Upfront Fees

We handle every personal injury and workers’ compensation case on a contingency fee basis. You pay nothing unless we recover compensation for you, and every consultation is free.

Involvement in Georgia's Legal Community

Stephen Hasner co-founded the Georgia Injured Workers’ Advocates (GIWA), an organization that advocates for the rights of injured workers statewide.

He chairs the Workplace Injury Network Political Action Committee (WIN-PAC) and has served on the board of directors of the Workers’ Compensation Claimant Lawyers division of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.

That level of involvement in the legal community shapes how the firm approaches policy, advocacy, and case preparation.

Results and Recognition

Hasner Law’s personal injury attorneys in Georgia have recovered millions of dollars in combined settlements and verdicts for clients in personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Past results do not guarantee future outcomes, but they reflect the firm’s approach to preparation and advocacy.
