Melodi Adegbite has been with Hasner Law since 2012. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in 2006 from Florida A&M University. Melodi also received a certificate in Paralegal Studies from Clayton State University in 2010.

Melodi is a very responsible and caring paralegal. She will go the extra mile to help her clients and will do everything she can to make them feel comfortable. Melodi has a very strong knowledge and understanding of the legal process.

She is very family-oriented and spends a lot of time with her daughter and enjoys traveling.

Cristal joined Hasner Law in July 2019, and since 2012 she specializes in the personal injury field.  Cristal strives to provide an exceptional client experience during what can be a very difficult and trying time. 

Cristal graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2010 and received her certificate in Paralegal Studies in 2015 from University of Georgia.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and camping.

Shanequé has eight years of paralegal experience and came to Hasner Law after working in the Major Crimes & Criminal Law Divisions under the District Attorney’s office. Wanting a change of pace, she decided to join the Hasner Law team to further her law knowledge in the civil realm of Workers’ Compensation.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Saint Leo University. 

Shanequé’s strength is making our clients feel comfortable throughout the process of their claim.  She genuinely desires the best for her clients and readily makes herself available to her clients anytime they are in need. She loves to travel (Jamaica is her favorite place so far) and she has some great dance moves.  

Yazmin Rodriguez

Yazmin has more than 20 years of experience helping injured workers and does so with deep understanding and compassion. Prior to entering the legal field, she served in the Army Reserve for 8 years as an administrative clerk. While in the Army Reserve she received an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from the Catholic Pontificial University of Puerto Rico. 

Her spare time is spent with family and friends, hiking and travelling. Yazmin is the proud mother of two adult daughters.  She loves animals and recently rescued a 4-year-old, 85-pound dog named Diego.

Senior Paralegal

April joins Hasner Law as an experienced Workers’ Comp paralegal. April is a team player in the office and enjoys helping clients with their legal needs. She is always willing to offer a team member assistance and goes the extra mile to fight for her clients. She is originally from Racine, Wisconsin. She moved to Atlanta, GA and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs, specializing in Diplomatic Affairs and a minor in French. 

April is a humanitarian at heart who loves to travel, enjoys history, documentaries and different cultures. April’s favorite activities include listening to live music, comedy shows, karaoke and dancing. 

Maria Ines Flores

Maria joins Hasner Law as an experienced bilingual paralegal. She is professional, talented and dedicated to helping a diverse clientele. Maria earned her law degree from the Universidad Regiomontana in Monterrey, Mexico. In 2018, Maria received her Master’s in Law from Emory University.  

Maria’s passion is working with the Hispanic Community. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and two rescue dogs. 

Sandra Contreras

Sandra recently relocated to Georgia after receiving a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her professional demeanor and authentic personality make all clients and visitors feel welcome and cared for at Hasner Law. 

Outside of the office, Sandra can be found enjoying all that Georgia has to offer from hiking, sampling various cuisines, and spending time with her family.

Amada Rivero

Amada Rivero

Legal Assitant

Amada joins Hasner Law with over a decade of experience in Spanish medical and asylum interpreting and formal training in educational and administrative environments. Her proficiency in both English and Spanish will strengthen the relationships with clients at Hasner Law. Amada aims to keep growing in legal knowledge and understanding so she can be of better assistance to clients and the community. She is currently pursuing a degree in Legal Studies and Paralegal Certification.

She believes that by immersing herself in solution-based tasks and executing the firm’s goals and objectives will lead to a collective progress towards superior results. Amada is eager to assist clients and provide them the best care and attention they need.

She is originally from Caracas, Venezuela but spent most of her life in the Midwest. In her spare time, Amada enjoys the outdoors, exercising, listening to live music, sci-fi movies, and trying new cuisines.

Heather Hasner

Heather Hasner

Director of Business Development

Heather joins Hasner Law with over 12 years of business management experience from IBM. She also served as IBM’s Global Accessibility Lead, a pioneer for disability rights and accessibility, leading research efforts and implementation of laws and regulations worldwide in technology. Heather earned a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design & Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Communications from Florida State University. 

The greatest joy for Heather is spending time with her husband and children. She loves cooking, exercising, running kids to activities, and volunteering with local and international missions. 

Erin Tankersley

Erin Tankersley

Director of Business Operations

Erin joins the Hasner Law team with over 20 years of experience in leadership and management of large worldwide teams. Her expertise in the field of operations is both rich and unique. Erin worked for over four years for a legal department of a manufacturer with a global footprint. She brings with her an extensive experience in privacy, insurance, risk management, and corporate law. Erin is a powerful force on our Hasner Law team and uses her gifts, talents, and tireless energy to guide the team to work hard and succeed. 

Erin grew up in Colorado. She attended Clemson University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aquaculture, Fisheries & Wildlife Biology. Shortly after graduating, a family friend convinced her to enter the legal field, and the rest is history.

Outside of the office, Erin is a member of Cherokee County Search and Rescue and enjoys spending time with her family and loving bloodhound named Lily.

Nina joins Hasner Law with over 20 years of customer service experience. This true native of Savannah loves to make people smile. She has great empathy for people going through difficult times and her genuine concern and care for our clients is displayed daily. Nina earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. 

In her spare time Nina loves podcasting about cheap wines on Two Chicks Wining, reading, traveling, and enjoying each day as a blessing.

Jennifer joins the Hasner Law team with a strong background in personal injury law. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, Jennifer served as an Administrative Assistant at a law firm. Along with her strengths in general administration in the legal industry, Jennifer comes to Hasner Law with a demonstrated history of client care as a former Intake Specialist.

Jennifer is a Mexican American, proficient in English and Spanish, and is well-equipped to work with a diverse clientele. She is excited to provide her legal knowledge, compassion, and care to clients as Hasner Law’s Intake Specialist.  

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, listening to music, hiking, and traveling.

Madison - Atlanta

Marketing Manager

Madison joins the Hasner Law team with several years of marketing and content strategy experience. She is a Florida native and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Public Relations and a concentration in Business Administration before moving to Atlanta.  

Prior to joining the firm, Madison worked at a digital marketing agency as a Content Strategist. During her time at the agency, she developed and executed content marketing strategies through social media, blog posts, email, landing pages, and websites for 20+ clients across different industries. She is passionate about telling compelling stories and serving others through her work to help organizations grow. 

When Madison is not focused on marketing, she enjoys running, hiking, cooking, traveling, and spending time with the people who mean the most to her – her family and friends!

Deborah Channell

Business Operations Assistant

Deborah joins the Hasner Law team as an experienced operations analyst. She grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, until she attended Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities and a minor in Business Administration. Shortly after graduating, she was hired at a law office as an Administrative Assistant, specializing in supporting cases in medical malpractice, wrongful termination, and personal injury. Deborah thoroughly loved supporting clients through the lawsuit process from the intake level to settlement.

In 2019, Deborah moved to Atlanta to join OneTrust, a new start-up software company, as a Business Operations Analyst, where she learned the complexities of supporting a growing company and the thrill of watching it provide a helpful product for its customers. And prior to joining the firm, she was the Administrative Assistant at Smyrna Presbyterian Church, where she managed community and church operations. 

Outside of the office, Deborah enjoys reading, playing board games with her family and friends, and spending time outside.

Kimberly Williamson

Kimberly Williamson

Front Office Coordinator

Kim joins Hasner Law with an extensive background in client services in financial corporations, start-ups, and local government organizations. She approaches all aspects of her role as Front Office Coordinator with a positive, hard-working mindset. Kim is passionate about helping others find solutions to any challenge. She is a dedicated, focused, and self-driven team member that thrives on helping others with compassion, organization, and continuous learning. 

Kim relocated to Georgia with her family from the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. 

In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and four children. She loves to travel, complete home improvement projects, and quilt. She also enjoys serving her community through volunteering at her church.

Jenny Webb

Financial Specialist

Jenny joins Hasner Law with 19 years of finance experience as the former Financial Analyst for Sodexo, Inc., a global food and facilities services provider. As a Financial Analyst, Jenny was responsible for comparing financial results against monthly and annual budgets and reported trends and exceptions to senior management. As a thought leader in finance, Jenny also trained operations managers on how to understand their financial reports and make good business decisions based on the results.

When she is not working with finances, Jenny volunteers her time and skills as an administrative leader for an international ministry. She is one of their technology leads, supplying support for all things tech-related.

Jenny grew up in Roanoke, Virginia, and moved to Atlanta after earning her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University. She loves the Blue Ridge Mountains and enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter hiking and exploring.

Scott Finlayson

Scott Finlayson

Technology Specialist

Scott is a Technology Specialist at Hasner Law and has been part of the team since 2017. He graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Spanish-International Trade and a minor in Community and Civic Engagement. Scott worked for several years in digital marketing as a Media Manager and Digital Strategist before transitioning into the nonprofit world, where he served as the U.S. Director of Rayo de Sol Ministry, the Nicaragua-based community development nonprofit founded by Stephen Hasner. While working for this ministry, Scott began to use the skills he developed in the digital marketing world to tackle technology-related projects for Hasner Law.

When Scott is not focused on technology for the firm, he serves as a Pastoral Resident at his local church. In his spare time, Scott loves to play music and soccer. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the outdoors.
