Since earning his J.D. in 1997, he has dedicated his legal career to workers’ compensation and personal injury cases. Initially focused on the defense side, he quickly recognized the importance of advocating for the rights of those facing life’s challenges through personal and workplace injuries. Hasner sought to provide legal representation for these individuals, giving them a voice to be heard and securing victories to ensure they receive both financial and medical assistance.

He is a co-founder of a ministry in Nicaragua (rayodesol.org) that educates, feeds, and supports the children and their families in need. Closer to home, he actively leads in professional organizations that advocates for the rights of injured workers. He volunteers with his family in local ministry work and community programs.

Associations and Committees

He is also active in various professional organizations. He co-founded the Georgia Injured Workers’ Advocates (GIWA) and is a current member of the executive committee and serves as treasurer of that group. He is the board chairman of the Workplace Injury Network Political Action Committee (WIN-PAC) and has served as a member of the board of directors of the Workers’ Compensation Claimant Lawyers, a division of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He also served as co-chair of the Workers’ Compensation Law Institute, which is a yearly seminar for lawyers and judges throughout Georgia.
