Savannah, Georgia experienced a tragic vehicular incident late Saturday night. Toombs County deputies were dispatched to a report of a car accident along GA Highway 130 near Kingswood Dr. in Vidalia. An investigation began upon arrival where a Dodge Charger R/T, involved in the crash, was discovered on the roadside.
The wreck involved four young individuals: Lauren Wilcher, 18, from Uvalda; Brooke Williamson, 18, from Oak Park; Caleb Howell, 19, from Odum; and Kyle Jackson, 19, from Vidalia.
Tragically, Williamson and Jackson were pronounced dead at the scene. Howell, who was ejected from the vehicle, and Wilcher, both sustained life-threatening injuries and were promptly transported by Toombs Montgomery EMS to Memorial Health Meadows Hospital. Due to the severity of their conditions, they were later transferred to Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
